Since 1865
Kandil's history goes back to 1865, when Kandil Brothers started as a pioneer in manufacturing manual and primitive agricultural machinery — later semi-automatic ones, then boilers in the 1900s, and finally focusing on steel.
From 1989 through 2012, Kandil Steel grew from a simple cutting line in Qaliub to the largest flat-steel producer in the Middle East — owning the first private cold rolling mill in the region and setting up its first galvanizing line in 2003. A reliable coated-steel supplier across European and Middle Eastern markets.
